ILF – Full flexibility with unimagined precision!
JACKALOPE paid special attention to the mounting of the limbs on the Crystal grip. While traditional wooden risers usually only allow the use of special screw-on limbs, this is not the case here: the Crystal grip is equipped with the ILF plug-in system. ILF stands for the “International Limb Fitting” system, which is a standardized mount in which the limbs are not screwed to the riser but simply plugged in. The mounting block is something special and unique! Made of solid metal (aluminum), it is not only extremely stable and precise, but also enables a precise and stable ILF attachment on a wooden riser that is in no way inferior to that on a metal riser.
The tiller can be easily adjusted using the tiller screw, which, unlike other ILF attachments, has an additional ring that secures the limb so that it does not move when adjusted in an unstretched state. Once the optimal tiller position has been found, this setting is fixed using the hexagon socket screw in the tiller screw. The lateral adjustment of the limbs is now also much more precise and secure, as the lateral grub screws are no longer installed in the wood of the riser, but in the mount. This means that over-tightened screws in the wood or risers torn at this point are now a thing of the past.
