Description

HOYT Alpha X 30 - 40-80 lbs - Compound bow

The new Alpha X 30 is compact and forgiving and feels right at home on the hide, in the treestand or in the field. With monumental improvements in quietness, vibration and efficiency, it's the game changer shooters have been waiting for.

The Alpha X was designed from the ground up for a smoother draw, higher let-off, higher velocity and better sound/vibration performance without limb shox. This was a high demand, but it was met. The result is the most efficient bow HOYT has ever produced, offering the chord angle of a 32" bow at full Draw length despite its compact 30" length and providing additional stability and forgiveness in a compact form.

HBX™ Xact™ Cam
The HBX Xact Cam delivers unmatched smoothness combined with inimitable customizability to achieve the perfect shooting experience: Draw length adjustment in 1/4 inch increments, 3, 2, 1 mod system for peak performance at all draw lengths, X-Hard and Hard wall options and variable Let Off settings at 85, 80 or 75%. Includes an integrated stand to protect the string from excessive wear in the field.

If you're never satisfied, it only gets better from here.
That the new Alpha X has been rethought from the ground up is no exaggeration, as Hoyt engineers have spent a long time testing and refining every aspect from cam to cam. As a result, they were able to reduce vibrations by up to 18 % and noise by 25 %. Perseverance pays off after all.

Drop Cord Slot
The drop cord slot is a practical recess at the optimum point on the center section. It saves weight and keeps the draw cord out of the way of the arrow rest so that it is never in the way.

WireWRX strings and Holeshot V2 silencer
It's often the little things that make a big difference. That's why HOYT set its sights on WireWRX strings, designing and customizing them as part of the shooting system during the bow's development and equipping them with Holeshot V2 string silencers that reduce string vibrations by 25%. A one-piece system that offers noticeable performance advantages over other (aftermarket) strings.

VitalPoint grip
The VitalPoint is made of durable Versaflex material that offers ultimate comfort in all conditions. The grip has been designed at an optimal angle to ensure consistent hand position and accuracy.

Right-handed or left-handed?

Determination of the draw hand

The draw hand is the hand that pulls the string. This means that a right-handed bow is held in the left hand and drawn with the right hand.

Determining your personal draw hand has far less to do with whether you are left-handed or right-handed than you might initially assume. It is much more about determining the dominant eye. The dominant eye is used for aiming. This then automatically results in the draw hand.

The term dominant eye refers to the eye whose visual information is superimposed on everything. If a shooter tried to aim with the other eye, he would have to close the dominant eye.

There are two ways of determining the dominant eye: On the one hand, it is the eye that is generally favoured, for example when looking through the viewfinder of a camera, through the peephole or similar situations. On the other hand, there is a small exercise that can be used to determine the dominant eye beyond doubt:

  • The arms are stretched out and a triangle is formed with the thumbs and index fingers of both hands.
  • A small target is aimed at through the triangle, for example a socket or a cupboard knob. Focus on this object.
  • The hands are now slowly brought towards the face without taking the target object out of focus.
  • The triangle of thumb and index fingers will involuntarily tend towards one side of the face and this is where the dominant eye is located.

If the dominance of the eye and hand do not match, the bow should still be selected according to eye dominance. The arms can be easily retrained for the new draw hand, but not the eye.

Notes on delivery time

Please note the following information on the stated and actual delivery time:

You are purchasing an item that we do not have in stock ourselves, but order from a wholesaler for you. As a rule, it will be with us in approx. 5-7 working days and can then be dispatched to you immediately. For this reason, a maximum delivery time of 8-9 working days is displayed in the order form.

However, our shop system cannot display the stock levels of wholesalers and suppliers. Even the wholesaler cannot always have every variation in stock. It may therefore be the case that the item has to be ordered directly from the manufacturer (Asia, America). In this case, the delivery time can be extended to up to 12 weeks. In special cases, the item will be made for you and may have an even longer waiting time.

After finalising your order and checking the availability of your items, you will receive information from us with a more precise delivery time. If possible, we will also offer you alternatives that can be delivered more quickly.

Thank you for your understanding.
