SPHERE Pro pin nock
Pin nocks are perhaps the most universal nocks in archery. As they do not have to be inserted into or over the shaft, the shaft diameter does not matter for this type of nock and they are therefore only available in one size. To "connect" them to the shaft, they are placed on an adapter - the pin insert - which is glued into the shaft beforehand. The pin insert is available in different sizes to match the diameter of the shaft. The pin of the adapter, which holds the nock, is always the same size (Ø 3.2 mm) and guarantees that almost all pin cams fit on the pin insert.
The only difference in size that can be found in pin cams relates to the diameter of the nock bed, i.e. the point on the nock where the string is located when it is inserted. For most applications with normal thickness strings, the "Small" size with a nock bed diameter of 2.5mm should be sufficient. For strings with a thicker diameter, the "Large" size with 2.8 mm can be selected.
